Some more 80's

Thought I'd share these with you:

The video quality sucks but what a great song!

A great song but sadly, this band isn't that well known. A pity because their music is really quite good and unique. The song 'Straight Lines' from New Musik regularly received special airplay from guest DJ Frank Zappa.

Now here's a rare one that nobody I know actually knows about. 'There's A Virus Going Round' by Spectral Display, which was a band that only lasted for 2 years from 1982 to 1984. A shame really because the music is good.

A rare song from the band Electric circus, which was released in 1988.

A very rare synth pop song from V Capri, a band based in Perth, Australia.

  1. Once again these tunes are all bloody great!

I Still remember when I first heard that song of Sique Sique Sputnik, I was playing Grand Theft Auto Vice City and it came on one of the radio channels, luckily it had a booklet with all the radio playlists, I went looking for it straight away and well I pretty much loved it every since, that game has a lot of amazing tunes from the 80's!

I really like New Musik's one, it's really catchy and already have the song haunting me in my head!

  2. Hehehe, GTA Vice City is exactly where I first heard the tune as well. Good times indeed. In fact, GTA VC introduced me to a lot of bands. :)
